Water Charities

Philanthropy is normally reserved for millionaires, who for various reasons decide to give some of their wealth to causes that interest them or the communities they came from.

What about setting up a company that is philanthropic from the outset? Make the money and donate it straight away?

Now a small kiwi company is doing just that. Inspired by Bob Geldof’s call to the New Zealand government to increase aid to the developing world, Ethical Water Brands has launched KiwiPhil, a bottled water where all the profits go to water aid charities, bringing the choice of fresh clean water to communities around the globe.

We choose bottled water over tap water purely for convenience in New Zealand. In most places we live or holiday in New Zealand, the tap water is great. Many people in the world are born, live and die without that choice. Ever.

Kiwi Philanthropy. Everyday. What about the buzz that you feel when you get a smile from the charity door knocker when you slip in a fiver? Wouldn’t that be a great feeling to have from just doing something small in everyday life, that you were going to do anyway?

Buying a bottle of water, simply because you are thirsty, on the go, or far from the kitchen sink—will now allow a village to have clean water without the mothers and children walking miles just to get water to subsist. Imagine what they can do now they have a tap!

KiwiPhil—give water to the world.

The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good.
